There are various recipes and flavors depending on the region where are prepared, but among the most popular there are the Mexican sweet tamales, which also have different flavors.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; custom_margin=&#8221;5vh||||false|false&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;4_4&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; text_font=&#8221;||||||||&#8221; text_text_color=&#8221;#8f9282&#8243; text_font_size=&#8221;18px&#8221; header_2_text_color=&#8221;#cc0001&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h2>Ingredients:<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">\u2022<\/span> 1 package of &#8220;La Paloma Corn Husks&#8221;<br \/><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">\u2022<\/span>500 grams of flour for tamale<br \/><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">\u2022<\/span> 1 tablespoon of baking powder<br \/><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">\u2022<\/span> 1 tablespoon of salt<br \/><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">\u2022<\/span> 250 grams of vegetable shortening or lard<br \/><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">\u2022<\/span> 1 can of condensed milk<br \/><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">\u2022<\/span> 50 grams of sugar (\u00bc cup)<br \/><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">\u2022<\/span> 100 milliliters of milk<br \/><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">\u2022<\/span> 2 drops of red vegetable coloring<br \/><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">\u2022<\/span> Optional raisins<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Instructions:<\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">1.<\/span> To start preparing the sweet tamales, beat the vegetable shortening until it acquires a cream texture. This process will take you around 10-15 minutes.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">2.<\/span>In another container, mix the dry ingredients: the flour for the tamale, the baking powder, the teaspoon of salt and the sugar. Mix well so that everything is incorporated.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">3.<\/span> Take La Paloma Corn Husks out of the packaging and reserve, you can moisten a little if you consider it, the leaves are soft and clean.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">4.<\/span> When you have the butter whipped, gradually add the dry ingredients and mix to integrate everything.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">5.<\/span> Add the milk and the can of condensed milk and mix again. At this point you can add the drops of red food coloring to give your tamales a pink color. And add the raisins.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #cc0001\">6.<\/span> Transfer your tamales to a pot to cook them in a bain-marie.
